This patch uses a combined flat metallic thread and sequin technique: the lion’s mane is densely filled with gold flat metallic thread, the face and eyes are flat-laid with white sequins, and the tips of the mane are individually and densely tacked with blue, cyan, and green sequins. The black base fabric sets off the light-and-dark contrast between the gold metallic threadwork and the sequins. The overall effect is dimensional and full, with lustre shifting in layers from different angles.
Optional Techniques
Design motifs, colourways, and sequin types can be adjusted according to your artwork; sequin options include flat sequins, cup sequins, or shaped sequins; metallic thread can be switched to silver or coloured metallic thread; the finished product can be made as a fabric patch or badge, or embroidered directly onto finished garments.
Applications
Suitable for chest and back decoration on jackets, coats, and sweatshirts, as well as patches and badges for bags and headwear. The combination of metallic thread and sequins offers strong visual recognition in streetwear, stage, and formalwear decoration.
Customisation Process
Customisation from artwork or samples is supported. Standard MOQ is 300 pieces; free sampling is available for three simple designs, while sampling fees apply for combined techniques (credited against the order when the MOQ is reached); standard sampling takes 24–48 hours, and complex or combined techniques take approximately 3–4 business days; bulk production lead time is 5–10 business days, subject to production scheduling confirmation.
Production Capacity
Dobest has over 30 specialty computerised embroidery machines for combined metallic thread and sequin embroidery, with a 3,000 m² facility. Combined techniques are embroidered in stages, and each piece is inspected before dispatch for sequin attachment and metallic thread lustre.
