This cross-stitch lettering is built on a retro ethnic-style foundation: within each letter outline, off-white, navy, orange and other colour blocks interweave into a diamond lattice; the lattice edges are finished with dark-thread edging, and the strokes are thick with crisp outlines. The grid-like stitches characteristic of cross-stitch embroidery give the letter surface a fine, grainy texture—from a distance, they read as grounded letters; up close, they reveal layered ethnic motifs, substantial yet visually enduring.
Optional techniques
Letterforms, letter spacing and colourways can be adjusted to supplied artwork; fills can be geometric diamond checks, stripes or solid colour blocks; edges can use dark edging or tonal concealed stitching; carriers can be fabric patches or webbing, or the design can be embroidered directly onto finished garments; thread options include cotton, polyester and rayon.
Applications
Suitable for chest badges and sleeve patches on T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and denim jackets, and for fabric-patch accents on canvas bags, baseball caps, scarves and other accessories. Retro ethnic-style letter combinations are widely used in streetwear, fashion labels and Chinese-inspired fashion products.
Customization process
Customization from artwork or samples is supported. Standard MOQ is 300 pcs; sampling is free for three simple designs; a sampling fee applies to complex or composite processes (deductible once the order reaches MOQ); standard sampling takes 24–48 hours, while complex or composite processes take about 3–4 working days; standard bulk lead time is 5–10 working days, subject to production scheduling confirmation, and rush orders can be prioritized in scheduling.
Production capacity
Dobest operates more than 30 in-house computerized embroidery machines for specialty embroidery, with a 3,000 ㎡ factory and annual capacity of about 1.5 million pieces, supporting both small-batch sampling and large-volume production. Letters and check fills are formed in a single machine-embroidery pass; before dispatch, each piece is checked for letterforms, colour matching and edge finishing.
