This badge is shaped like a beetle: the body is formed with hollow 3D embroidery, creating a full, raised effect with crisp, structured edging; the wing surfaces and colour blocks are clearly defined, helping it hold its shape without looking limp. The overall form is neat and clean, like a small 3D patch.
Optional techniques
The motif, colourway and fill thickness can be adjusted according to your artwork; hollow or solid filling is available; the border can use thread in the same colour, gold thread or ribbon tape; the backing fabric can be knit, cotton-linen or denim; the finished item can be made as a badge or fabric applique patch, or embroidered directly onto finished garments.
Applications
Suitable for badges and patches on coats, jackets and bags, and also for headwear, scarves and creative lifestyle products. Insect-shaped 3D badges are common in casual and fashion-forward products.
Customisation process
Customisation from artwork or samples is supported. Standard MOQ is 300 pcs; for simple samples, 3 styles can be sampled free of charge; complex techniques incur a sampling fee (deductible from the order once the MOQ is reached); standard sampling takes 24–48 hours, while complex or combined techniques take about 3–4 working days; bulk production lead time is 5–10 working days, subject to production scheduling confirmation.
Production capacity
Dobest has a 3,000 ㎡ factory and more than 30 specialised computerised embroidery machines, and can handle bulk customisation of 3D badges. After embroidery, each piece is checked for fullness of the raised effect and flatness of the border.
