Dobest’s laser perforation process for shoe uppers is designed for specialty coated fabrics and high-abrasion-resistant materials. The high-energy laser cut features fused, sealed edges that resist powder flaking and edge fraying, helping address the rough hand-cut edges and poor breathability of rigid glitter materials, while combining a decorative visual effect with a comfortable feel.
Optional processes
subtle-shimmer laser perforation on glitter, wavy scalloped perforation on shoe uppers, geometric breathable honeycomb mesh holes, and local upper appliqué combined with flat embroidery.
Applications
fashion high-heel shoe uppers, breathable casual flat shoe toes, women’s sandal straps, and outer cut pieces for affordable luxury evening bags.
Customisation process
provide artwork or a physical sample (AI, PDF, DXF vector files or high-resolution images accepted) → calculate laser cutting power and stitch density based on fabric characteristics and perforation size → issue physical samples within 24–48 hours (3 simple samples provided free of charge) → sample approval and entry into bulk production (standard MOQ from 300 pieces; bulk lead time 5–10 working days).
Production capability
a laser power parameter database covering various composite shoe materials and coated fabrics, helping prevent fabric scorching, darkening, or surface glitter delamination.
