Flat Cord Ribbon Embroidery | Hand-Guided Raised Letter Embroidery
This script letter embroidery combines modern electronically controlled ribbon embroidery with the raised texture of traditional hand-guided styling: black flat tape runs smoothly along the outer edge as a border, while inside the flat tape is folded and coiled to create a wavy, undulating texture. The centre of each tape loop is securely stitched down with fine thread in the same colour, offering both an open, airy look and a solid, stable three-dimensional effect.
Optional techniques
Flat tape material options include polyester flat tape, cotton webbing, linen-effect tape or mercerised flat cord, in widths of 2.5–6.0 mm; suitable base fabrics include bright red cotton knit, fleece sweatshirt fabric, denim or coarse canvas; script letters can be customised to customer-supplied artwork.
Application scenarios
Suitable for developing script art letter embroidery as the main chest graphic on red streetwear hoodies, vintage collegiate knit jackets, baseball cap front panels, canvas tote bags and sleeve patches on statement jackets.
Customisation process
Customer provides artwork (AI / PDF / high-resolution image) → confirm colour matching, size and cord diameter → three simple samples issued free of charge → bulk production after confirmation. Sampling takes 24–48 hours, or 3–4 working days for complex techniques; MOQ is 300 pieces, and bulk production normally takes 5–10 working days (subject to production scheduling confirmation). Rush orders can be prioritised in production.
Production capacity
The flat tape turns corners smoothly and lies flat without edge lifting, and the securing stitches are even and smooth; equipped with more than 30 computerised embroidery machines for specialty embroidery, bulk production closely matches the samples.
