Cord Embroidery Service | Dark Grey Thick Braided Cord Vintage Letter and Number Embroidery
This vintage number embroidery uses a dense all-cord filling construction: a specialized machine head guides thick braided cord along the number shapes in flowing paths. The interiors of the strokes are layered with dense concentric circles and swirl textures, while fine stitching secures the cord invisibly to the base fabric. The result is a full, dimensional look with a neat braided texture that resists unraveling and distortion during washing and wear.
Available options
Cord materials can include thick braided cord, twisted round cord, hollow flat tape, or polyester core-spun cord, with diameters from 2.0–4.5 mm. Base fabrics can include charcoal black jersey knit, heavyweight hoodie French terry, washed denim, or workwear twill cotton. Compatible with localized screen printing or high-density flat embroidery for combined processing.
Applications
Suitable for chest numbers on heavyweight hoodies, large lettering on the back of vintage baseball jackets, sleeve-arm patches for streetwear jackets, and numeric numbering embroidery on canvas bags. Custom artwork is supported for multiple fonts and combined numbers.
Customization process
Customer provides artwork (AI / PDF / high-resolution image) → color, size, and cord diameter confirmed → 3 basic samples provided free of charge → bulk production after approval. Sampling takes 24–48 hours, or 3–4 working days for complex techniques; MOQ is 300 pieces, and bulk production normally takes 5–10 working days (subject to production schedule confirmation). Rush orders can be prioritized in production scheduling.
Production capabilities: Smooth transitions for thick cord around curves and raised contours, with clean stroke endings and minimal thread-end build-up. Equipped with more than 30 specialized computerized embroidery machines; bulk production remains consistent with the approved sample.
