Photochromic Cord Embroidery Patch｜Custom 3D Heart Appliqué

This heart-shaped appliqué uses dense miniature spiral coil cord embroidery with specialty photochromic cord: the cord is layered and looped from the outer edge toward the center along the heart contour; under light, the fine cord shows gradual light-and-shade tonal effects; the cord is secured to the felt backing with fine spanning stitches, and the edges are trimmed in three dimensions to follow the shape.

Available options

Cord materials include photochromic color-changing cord, gradient mercerized cord, fine nylon cord, or elastic round cord, with cord diameters of 0.8–2.5 mm; backing options include white high-density felt, non-woven interlining, twill, or suede; the reverse side can be supplied with heat-activated adhesive, self-adhesive, or hook-and-loop fastener for easier panel stitching and garment application.

Applications

Suitable for chest accents on trend-led sweatshirts, appliqués on denim jackets, pockets on women's wool coats, shoulder badges on childrenswear, and standalone heart badge decoration on canvas bags; multi-size and custom-shape tooling and sampling are supported.

Customization process

Customer provides artwork (AI／PDF／high-resolution image) → verify color matching, size, and cord diameter → three basic samples at no charge → bulk production after confirmation. Sampling takes 24–48 hours, and complex techniques take 3–4 working days; MOQ is 300 pieces; regular bulk production takes 5–10 working days (subject to production scheduling confirmation); rush orders can be scheduled with priority.

Production capacity

Spiral cord radius and stitch spacing are stably controlled by a dedicated electronic control system, giving flat, full-bodied cord placement and neatly tightened thread ends; the facility is equipped with more than 30 computerized embroidery machines for specialty embroidery, maintaining consistent quality between sampling and bulk production.
