Cord embroidery + flat embroidery combination | Red rose in gold cord embroidery on denim
This rose motif uses a combination of flat embroidery as the base and metallic cord embroidery: dense flat stitching first creates petal gradients and colour-separated leaves on dark denim, then a dedicated cord-embroidery head precisely lays gold metallic cord along the petal edges and leaf veins, secured with fine fixing stitches to deliver a raised, sculpted lustre.
Optional techniques
Cord materials can be metallic cord, cotton cord, core-spun cord, flat tape or wool yarn, with diameters from 0.8–5.0mm adapted to the design; the base can combine flat embroidery, appliqué or partial sequin embroidery; base fabrics can include denim, woolen, canvas, twill or leather.
Applications
Suitable for large back designs on denim jackets, floral chest motifs on jackets, sleeve decorations on sweatshirts, plackets on vintage womenswear and personalised development of canvas bags; proportional pattern-making and sampling from artwork or samples are supported.
Customisation process
Customer provides artwork (AI/PDF/high-resolution image) → confirm colours, size and cord diameter → 3 simple samples free of charge → bulk production after approval. Sampling takes 24–48 hours, or 3–4 working days for complex techniques; MOQ is 300 pcs, regular bulk production takes 5–10 working days (subject to production scheduling confirmation), and urgent orders can be prioritised.
Production capability
Flat embroidery base stitch density and cord embroidery turning paths are designed integrally at the pattern-making stage, with smooth corners and neat cord ends finished on the reverse; equipped with more than 30 computerised embroidery machines for specialty embroidery, and sampling and bulk production follow the same set of process standards.
