Chunky Wool Cord Embroidery + Flat Embroidery Combination | Haute Couture Icelandic Wool Relief Embroidery
This haute couture embroidery combines extra-thick wool cord embroidery with fine flat embroidery: the machine head precisely guides the lofty, thick wool yarn along its reciprocating path, coiling full, raised stems and panels, while fine threads in matching colors use flat-stitch filling and zigzag stitching for positioning, locking, and detail transitions, creating an overall dimensional and elegant effect.
Optional techniques
Cord materials can be woolen-spun wool yarn, bulky Icelandic wool yarn, mohair-blend cord, or tweed roving; base fabrics are compatible with semi-sheer chiffon, lightweight cotton-linen, organza, heavy chenille, or coarse tweed; flat embroidery threads can be silk-luster thread, rayon, or matte cotton thread for coordinated color matching.
Applications
Suitable for large-area motif development for high-end runway fashion, premium womenswear cardigan plackets, designer trench coat hems, decorative bands for gown skirts, and artistic scarves and shawls; supports both cut-piece embroidery and roll-goods embroidery integration.
Customization process
Customer provides artwork (AI/PDF/high-resolution image) → confirm colorways, dimensions, and cord diameter → 3 simple sample options provided free of charge → bulk production after confirmation. Sampling takes 24–48 hours; complex techniques take 3–4 working days; MOQ 300 pieces; regular bulk production takes 5–10 working days (subject to production scheduling confirmation); rush orders can be prioritized in production scheduling.
Production capacity
Stable tension control for thick threads; lightweight fabrics remain smooth without puckering, with uniform bobbin threads and no bobbin thread show-through; equipped with over 30 computerized embroidery machines for specialty stitches, and bulk production uses parameters consistent with samples.
