This backing-free embroidery takes a floral vine direction: letters are entwined with flowers and vines, built in three dimensions purely from thread with no backing added. Letters and botanicals rise and fall in layers, the colour palette is low in saturation with graded tonal transitions, and the hand feel is soft and light.
Optional techniques
Patterns, sizes and colourways can be adjusted to your artwork; choose pure-thread 3D construction or flat embroidery as a base; produce as embroidered patches or stitch directly onto finished fabric; base fabrics can be skin-friendly options such as cotton, knit, linen and pile fabrics.
Applications
Suited to decoration and branding on lightweight, skin-friendly fabrics such as T-shirts, shirts, knitwear and loungewear, and also used on baby and children's apparel and gift-box accessories.
Customisation process
Customisation from artwork or samples is supported. Standard MOQ is 300 pieces; three simple samples are free of charge, while complex or combined techniques carry a sampling fee (credited back once an order reaches MOQ). Standard sampling takes 24–48 hours; complex or combined techniques take about 3–4 working days. Bulk production lead time is typically 5–10 working days, subject to production scheduling confirmation, and rush orders can be prioritised.
Production capacity
Dobest operates a 3,000 ㎡ facility with more than 30 specialised computerised embroidery machines and an annual capacity of around 1.5 million pieces. Backing-free 3D embroidery is formed in a single pass on computerised embroidery machines, and every piece is checked for fullness of the raised surface and edge finishing before dispatch.
