This patch takes a minimalist ink-wash approach: the butterfly's wings are worked in needle-pile embroidery, with lines spaced and clustered in a considered rhythm and generous negative space, opening out like ink diffusing on paper, while the pile surface carries a soft feathery texture. The contrast of black against grey-white is crisp and clean, with subtle detail within the minimalism.
Available options
Motif, line density and colourway can be adjusted to your artwork; the pile can be short and dense or vertical pile; base fabric can be cotton-linen, canvas or knit; the finished piece can be supplied as a patch or fabric appliqué, or embroidered directly onto garments or home-textile fabric.
Applications
Suitable for decorating apparel and bags, and also used in home soft furnishings, hangings and cultural-creative products. The combination of minimalist ink-wash and pile surface reads well over time in accessible-luxury and Chinese-style collections.
Customisation process
Custom work from your artwork or sample is supported. Standard MOQ is 300 pieces; sampling is free for 3 designs on simple samples, while complex work carries a sampling fee (creditable against the order once the MOQ is reached); standard sampling takes 24–48 hours, and complex or combined techniques about 3–4 working days; bulk production lead time is 5–10 working days, subject to production scheduling confirmation.
Production capability
Dobest can take on needle-pile embroidery customisation with fine linework, with a 3,000 ㎡ facility and more than 30 computerised embroidery machines for specialty embroidery. Pile embroidery places higher demands on stitching paths and finishing, so line definition and pile hand-feel are checked piece by piece before dispatch.
