This embroidery takes an American vintage direction: the lettering and colour-block motifs are rendered in short dense pile needle-pile embroidery on a denim ground, giving a pile surface that is short, dense and full-bodied, while blocks of red, cream and similar tones build a distinctly American look. The needle-pile finishing gives the letter outlines a fuller body and a soft hand, bringing a warm pile texture to the vintage mood.
Available options
The motif, lettering content and colourway can be adjusted to your artwork; the pile can be short and dense, or a slightly longer vertical pile; the ground fabric can be denim, cotton-linen or knit; the finished piece can be supplied as a fabric patch or embroidered directly onto the garment; the pile yarn can be wool or a blended yarn.
Applications
Suited to chest and back decoration on denim jackets, jackets and sweatshirts, and also used as an accent on bags, headwear and scarves. American vintage colour-block lettering is a common sight in streetwear and casual ranges.
Customisation process
Customisation from your artwork or sample is supported. Standard MOQ is 300 pieces; sampling is free for three simple designs, while complex or multi-process work carries a sampling charge (creditable against the order once the MOQ is reached); standard samples are produced in 24–48 hours, with complex or multi-process work taking about 3–4 working days; standard bulk lead time is 5–10 working days, subject to production scheduling confirmation, and rush orders can be prioritised in the schedule.
Production capacity
Dobest operates more than 30 in-house computerised embroidery machines for specialty embroidery, with a factory floor area of 3,000 ㎡ and an annual capacity of approximately 1.5 million pieces. Needle-pile embroidery passes through two stages, stitching and pile finishing, and each piece is checked for pile evenness and colour matching before dispatch.
