This embroidered patch combines printing with needle-pile embroidery: the base is a printed fabric surface, while the pony outline is partially embroidered with velvet-thread needle-pile embroidery. The pile surface is fine and close to a velvet hand feel, with areas such as the saddle highlighted in pile. Print and embroidery are layered naturally for rich dimension and a light, airy style.
Optional techniques
The printed base, motif and colourway can be adjusted to your supplied artwork; pile can be applied as local accents or full coverage; thread options include velvet thread or blended pile yarn; base fabric options include printed fabric, knit, or cotton-linen; the finished item can be an embroidered patch or fabric appliqué, or embroidered directly onto finished garments.
Applications
Suitable for accent decoration on hoodies, childrenswear and jackets, and for branding on bags and creative lifestyle products. The combination of print and pile embroidery is common in casualwear and children’s products.
Customisation process
We support customisation from your artwork or sample. Standard MOQ: 300 pieces; 3 simple designs sampled free of charge; a sampling fee applies to complex techniques (deductible against the order once MOQ is reached); standard sampling takes 24–48 hours, while complex or combined techniques take approx. 3–4 working days; bulk production lead time is 5–10 working days, subject to production schedule confirmation.
Production capacity
Dobest can handle combined processing of printed fabric and needle-pile embroidery, with a 3,000 m² factory and more than 30 specialised computerised embroidery machines. Before dispatch, each piece is checked for print-to-embroidery alignment and pile evenness.
