Custom Gradient MK Letter Embroidery | Turf (Toothbrush) Embroidery
The MK letters use toothbrush (turf) embroidery: the thread stands upright on the fabric into pile columns, the strokes forming crisp, individual pile with clean outlines and a soft, resilient hand feel. Inside the strokes, multi-colour pile columns fill in gradient bands, with colour progressing section by section along the stroke so that depth and colour layering come through together. Lettering demands high consistency in pile height and density, so we sample first to confirm the edges and the gradient.
Optional techniques
multi-colour gradient bands or solid colour; flat-embroidery outlining to strengthen the contour; edge finishing and adhesive backing for patch versions; letter size, weight and colours adjustable to your brand guidelines.
Applications
jersey and team lettering, baseball cap front panels, hoodie and jacket branding, brand letters on bags and woven labels, and graphic lettering for streetwear.
Customisation process
agree letter size, colours and pile-height allocation first, then sample from the artwork; standard sampling 24–48 hours, and for colour-critical work such as multi-colour gradients we recommend allowing 3–4 working days; MOQ 300 pieces, bulk production 5–10 working days, with rush orders scheduled first.
Capacity
small lettering is demanding on density and edges, so we compensate density design by design and sample version by version. We can move continuously from a single sample to volume production, keeping colour and pile height consistent between batches.
