3D Rose in Toothbrush Embroidery with Heat-Press Pile Setting | Flocking Embroidery

The rose is built in three dimensions with toothbrush (flocking) embroidery — thread stands upright on the fabric into pile columns, the petals showing crisp, individual pile, with the centre set higher than the outer edge so the flower rises in the middle and settles slightly at the rim. A later pass through the heat press sets the pile, so the columns lie in one direction and the shape stays crisp. From a distance it reads as a full 3D rose; close up it is individual pile.

Optional techniques

single-colour or three-plus-colour layered gradients; different pile heights for petals and leaves; edge finishing and adhesive backing (heat-press or hook-and-loop) for patch versions; colours matched to your colour card, with common shades such as red, rose, pink and champagne gold all available for sampling.

Applications

accents on hoodies, jackets, jerseys, hats, bags, woven labels and gift patches, and floral themes on womenswear and home textiles.

Customisation process

send your artwork (AI / PDF / high-resolution image) and intended use, and we will advise on height variation and colours; physical samples in 24–48 hours as standard, about 3–4 working days for complex combined techniques; MOQ 300 pieces, bulk production 5–10 working days, subject to production scheduling.

Capacity

the finishing line is complete — heat-press pile setting, hot-air forming, negative-pressure dust removal and piece-by-piece inspection — so pile direction and shape stay consistent within a batch and bulk deliveries keep the hand feel of the sample.

Product FAQ · Quality & Craftsmanship
Q1:Will toothbrush embroidery shed or unravel after washing?+
We use single-sided direct stitching combined with high-strength TPU hot-melt bonding on the reverse side, locking every thread root across the whole back. It resists shedding under a standard 40 °C machine wash, turned inside out and placed in a laundry bag.
Q2:What is the standard pile height range? Can it be customized?+
Standard pile height ranges from 1.0mm to 10.0mm (2.0–3.5mm is most common). We support multi-level pile heights within the same design to create distinct 3D visual hierarchy.
Q3:What are the minimum stroke and lettering requirements?+
Single line width should be ≥2.5–3.0mm, and letter height ≥10mm. For intricate details smaller than this threshold, we recommend composite flat embroidery or print for optimal legibility.
Q4:What is the MOQ and sampling lead time?+
MOQ is 300 pcs. Up to 3 simple samples are provided free. Sampling turnaround is 24–48 hours (3–4 days for complex composite). Bulk production takes 5–10 working days.
