Coarse-count wool-blend yarns are stitched in long-and-short directional pile lines, closely recreating the fluffy fur texture of a cat’s face with heterochromatic eyes. The scarf area combines fine laser-cut appliqué embroidery, while the whiskers use extra-thick white twisted thread in stand-away stitching, giving a strong handmade feel with clear layering.
Optional techniques
Customisation with coarse wool yarn, bulky acrylic yarn or mohair-effect yarn; optional laser-cut pieces with sealed edges, shaped overlock edging, hot-melt adhesive film backing or hook-and-loop fastening.
Applications
Suitable for chest patches on wool coats, sleeve patches on vintage knit cardigans, autumn/winter canvas bags and custom accessories for designer brands.
Customisation process
Customer provides artwork/sample → assess yarns and stitch types and develop a sample → sample turnaround in 24–48 hours (standard sampling; complex/combined techniques take 3–4 working days; three simple samples are provided free of charge, and complex sampling fees can be credited when the MOQ is reached) → approve and seal the sample → bulk production scheduled and delivered in 5–10 working days (MOQ from 300 pieces; priority scheduling for rush orders can be discussed).
Production capacity
Dobest in Dongguan is equipped with more than 30 specialised computerised embroidery machines, capable of running large-gauge needles and multi-ply twisted yarns smoothly, with fast sampling and full, dense stitching with good resistance to splitting.
