Two-Layer Toothbrush Embroidery with High-Low Segmented Pile DOBEST + Camouflage Base
This DOBEST lettering uses a two-layer stacked embroidery approach: a high-pile layer is first laid down as the base, then a second layer is stacked on top, with a height difference kept between the two so the letters appear to float above the fabric. The base fabric is camouflage, and the letter outlines remain clean and crisp against the patterned background. Pile height can be made from 1.0–10.0 mm as needed (2.0–3.5 mm commonly used); the hand feel is soft and resilient, and the pile is less prone to shedding after washing.
Optional techniques
The two layers can be made in the same color or contrasting colors, and the height difference can be increased as needed; the camouflage base can be swapped for other patterned fabrics; letters can have an outline, or a flat embroidery layer can be added for sharper definition; they can also be combined with appliqué and flat embroidery to add dimension.
Applications
Brand lettering and fashion text marks on work jackets, sweatshirts, baseball jackets, caps, bags and fabric labels.
Customization process
Customer provides artwork (AI / PDF / high-resolution image) → colors, size and pile height are checked → 3 simple samples are provided free of charge → bulk production begins after confirmation. Sampling takes 24–48 hours, or 3–4 working days for complex techniques; MOQ is 300 pieces, and bulk production normally takes 5–10 working days (subject to production scheduling confirmation). Urgent orders can be prioritized in scheduling.
Production capability
The challenge of two-layer stacked embroidery is keeping the pile-height difference between layers consistent; otherwise, some letters in the same batch can look thicker and others thinner. We lay out materials by layer, lock in the height difference through sample iterations, and then start production by style. With more than 30 specialized embroidery machines and piece-by-piece quality inspection, we keep the layering consistent across the batch.
