Chenille Embroidered Patch | Vintage Letter Gou-leng Patch + Toothbrush Embroidery
This set of letter patches combines chenille embroidery with toothbrush embroidery: the main letters use loop pile to build full letter faces, with edges finished in chain stitch for crisp letterforms; where strokes need more structure, an additional layer of toothbrush embroidery is added, with upright, resilient pile columns, creating clear contrast between the two pile surfaces. The patch is backed with black felt, and finished patches can be sewn or heat-applied to garments.
Optional techniques
Letters can be produced in single colour, two colours or gradients; chenille embroidery and toothbrush embroidery can be combined in separate zones, with pile height adjustable within 2–6 mm according to the artwork; patches can be finished with overlocking and adhesive backing; font, letter height and spacing can be adjusted to brand guidelines.
Applications
Suitable for letters and badges on hoodies, jackets, baseball caps, bags and fabric labels, and commonly used in vintage collegiate and streetwear designs; also suitable for team and co-branded logos.
Customisation process
Customer provides artwork (AI/PDF/high-resolution image) → confirm colours, size and pile height → 3 simple samples provided free → bulk production after confirmation. Sampling takes 24–48 hours, or 3–4 working days for complex techniques; MOQ is 300 pieces, and regular bulk production takes 5–10 working days (subject to production scheduling confirmation). Rush orders can be prioritised.
Production capacity
Letter patches are reproduced in batches from the same design, with loop and pile heights and density compensated for each design; standard equipment includes more than 30 computerized special embroidery machines, along with laser cutting and heat-press machines. Before bulk shipment, each piece is inspected for letter face fullness, edge finishing and adhesive backing.
