Embroidered Patch with a Combined Design of Toothbrush Embroidery Wrapping Chenille Embroidery

This patch layers toothbrush embroidery and chenille embroidery together: the outer layer uses toothbrush embroidery to raise pile columns that form a wrapping outline, while the inner layer uses chenille embroidery to build soft, lofted loops — one firm texture and one soft, with clear separation between the layers. The lettering and the lightning motif are worked in contrasting black and white, and the edge is finished with a white merrowed border. Toothbrush embroidery pile height runs 1.0–10.0 mm and chenille loop height 2–6 mm, both selectable to your requirements; the hand feel is soft and resilient, and the pile holds up well through washing.

Optional techniques

inner and outer layers can be colour-changed or have their techniques swapped; chenille embroidery can be used for local accents only; the edge can be merrowed or bound; the patch body can be backed with adhesive or hook-and-loop fastening for a detachable version.

Applications

lettering and motif patches on jackets, hoodies, baseball jackets, caps, bags and woven labels.

Customisation process

customer supplies artwork (AI / PDF / high-resolution image) → we confirm colours, size and pile height → three simple samples produced free of charge → bulk production after approval. Sampling takes 24–48 hours, or 3–4 working days for complex work; MOQ is 300 pcs, and bulk production normally takes 5–10 working days (subject to confirmed production scheduling); rush orders can be prioritised.

Production capability

Combining two techniques on a single patch makes layer height the hard part: toothbrush embroidery sits higher and chenille is softer, so a mistake in the sequence or in the anchoring positions lets the outer layer cover the inner one. We digitise in separate layers, sample each version to confirm layer heights and the exposed loop width, and then move into bulk production; with more than 30 special embroidery machines and piece-by-piece inspection, layer consistency is maintained across the whole batch.

Product FAQ · Quality & Craftsmanship
Q1:Will toothbrush embroidery shed or unravel after washing?+
We use single-sided direct stitching combined with high-strength TPU hot-melt bonding on the reverse side, locking every thread root across the whole back. It resists shedding under a standard 40 °C machine wash, turned inside out and placed in a laundry bag.
Q2:What is the standard pile height range? Can it be customized?+
Standard pile height ranges from 1.0mm to 10.0mm (2.0–3.5mm is most common). We support multi-level pile heights within the same design to create distinct 3D visual hierarchy.
Q3:What are the minimum stroke and lettering requirements?+
Single line width should be ≥2.5–3.0mm, and letter height ≥10mm. For intricate details smaller than this threshold, we recommend composite flat embroidery or print for optimal legibility.
Q4:What is the MOQ and sampling lead time?+
MOQ is 300 pcs. Up to 3 simple samples are provided free. Sampling turnaround is 24–48 hours (3–4 days for complex composite). Bulk production takes 5–10 working days.
