Custom Chenille Embroidered Patches | 3D Gou-Leng (Loop-Pile) Bee Patch
This bee patch uses loop pile to give the body a three-dimensional feel: the yarn is looped round after round into continuous small loops, and the black, orange and cream loop surfaces are plump and full. The wings are outlined in flat embroidery with feather-vein stitching for clearer detail. The motif is first embroidered onto a white felt base, then cut to its outline as a standalone patch, with the edge finished in a chain stitch so the face stays crisp and the border clean.
Optional techniques
Available as a standalone patch (overlocked edge plus adhesive backing for easy sewing or heat application), or embroidered directly onto garments; the loop pile can be a single colour or colour-blocked in sections, with pile height set zone by zone within 2–6 mm (2–4 mm is most common); details such as the wings can be switched to high-density flat embroidery, or lifted with metallic thread.
Applications
Suited to insect, animal and botanical motifs on hoodies, jackets, baseball caps, bags and woven labels; chenille patches are also often used as accents on childrenswear and home textiles.
Customisation process
Customer supplies artwork (AI / PDF / high-resolution image) → we confirm colours, size and pile height → three simple samples free of charge → bulk production after approval. Sampling takes 24–48 hours, or 3–4 working days for complex work; MOQ is 300 pieces, and bulk production normally takes 5–10 working days (subject to production scheduling confirmation). Rush orders can be given priority scheduling.
Production capacity
Patch production is handled in-house from digitising through cutting, with more than 30 computerised embroidery machines for specialty embroidery as standard, supported by laser cutting and heat presses; bulk runs repeat the same process standard, with every patch checked for pile height, edge finish and backing show-through.
